Paula Bannerman

Artist & Developer

Creative and thirsty for knowledge, I am an artistic software engineer who combines the technical background of code with the flavor of art. I see beyond the screen to bring ideas, concepts, and canvas’ to life.

Born and raised in the Washington DC metro area, I'm an artist and software engineer with 30 years of programming experience. My passion lies with encouraging others to find their passions and get them to the next level, especially in Art and STEAM/STEM-related fields.

  • Inspire and support students as they identify their passions and drive their continued learning beyond the curriculum.
  • Performed quality assurance, research, troubleshooting, and debugging students’ homework over several technologies including Javascript, ReactJS, and Python.
  • Identified the needs and learning styles of students and guided instructors to make sure they were met.
  • Provided feedback to more than 100 developer/data science and UX/UI students on how they are doing, what troubles they are having, and giving them needed additional coaching.
